MISSION STATEMENT:

The CC Media Network exists as the primary vehicle for technologist and professional musician Chris Collins and his associates to publish music and effectively promote their numerous projects.

Although music production, publication, distribution & promotion are the main areas in which we are presently involved, our field of interest extends much further. Other endeavors we have our hands in include computer & audio engineering, technology integration, web design, digital image manipulation, media duplication, and consulting.

Formed in 2006, we have expended the bulk of our energy on a series of projects leveraging various multi-media technologies to more effectively promote music industry releases and events. For additional information, please check back at this site often or e-mail us with questions or comments.

April, 2010 - CC Media Network makes our initial foray into music publishing by signing New York based rap and hip-hop artist Steve Collins (who is, conveniently, Chris Collins's eldest son). An EP is on the horizon but, in the meantime, Steve's most recent tracks can be found on his official YouTube channel at:

December, 2009 - Futurepresent, the newest MOD FUN CD hits in December. This new release contains 15 tracks with contributions from each of the band members (a first for Mod Fun). The disc was engineered by Collins in the DAMn! (Danse Assembly Music network) Studios in Ocean Grove, NJ and will be available for sale at www.modfun.com and www.cdbaby.com.

The band is also expected to post the lead single on their Facebook & Myspace pages as well as uploading the video for it on their Official Youtube Channel.

August, 2009 - Back in the studio - Chris and friends are hard at work on the mixdowns for the newest MOD FUN CD. The yet to be titled release is expected to contain 15 tracks engineered by Collins in the DAMn! (Danse Assembly Music network) Studios in Ocean Grove, NJ. It should be ready for widespread release in the late fall.

April, 2009 - Chris is now a card-carrying member of ASCAP - The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers.


RECENT RELEASES


New Jersey bred avatars of the garage/cavestomp scene - Mod Fun's recent double-length CD features
hard-hitting new material combined with re-recordings of some of their 8T's classics. For Collins' part, aside from
being the drummer in the band, his CC Media Network was instrumental in the creation of the finished product,
providing digital photography services and audio engineering/production and mastering assistance.

The disc is available now at CD Baby and iTunes as well as many other CD shopping and digital music download sites.

UPCOMING PERFORMANCES


MOD FUN, New Jersey's own avatars of mod/psychpopadelica will be appearing live on February 12th, 2010 at The Record Collector in Bordentown, NJ to promote their new CD "Futurepresent". Joining the lads will be the awesome act The Lost Patrol. Don't miss!

RECENT PAST PERFORMANCES

Mod Fun returned to the awesome Jersey shore venue - The Asbury Lanes - for the first time in nearly three years. Their appearance with CJ Grogan and The Lost Patrol on Friday, May 22 was definitely a night of swingin' sounds. Chris even got to sit in on drums for an impromptu reunion of local 80's garage legends The Phantom Five. Niiiice!!!

MOD FUN took the stage at Asbury Lanes on October 14, 2006 for the third annual "Modsbury Park" event! Special guests The Anderson Council opened and a great time was had by all. The boys took to the road once again...this time for a performance at the monthly "REACTION" mod show in Baltimore, MD. As expected, it was a blast. Thanks to Amanda, Matt, The Sidebar and everyone who came out! The CBGB show was a resounding success! Thanks to all who participated.
